Ethiopia is often described as the birthplace of coffee, and believe us when we say that if you haven’t tried Ethiopian coffee, you’re missing out! One of the most popular varietals is washed and dried on raised beds in the Yirgacheffe region, resulting in high-quality beans best known for their intense and powerful flavors. With a mellow body and a rich profile featuring notes of lemon, chocolate, and florals, these beans are sure to impress in whatever way you brew them. If this sparks your interest, it’s time to buy your very own bag of Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee.

  • African origin

It's OK to drink but beans doesn't have enough aroma. More like stale or too old. Definitely not fresh batch. I couldn't confirm roast date since it doesn't come with such information as specialty coffee should be.

Excellent brews, great for discovery of cold brew with this natural delicately sweet wild beans

If you love dark roasts, I understand. This Yirgacheffe, should you try it, will change the way you experience coffee. The enchanting origin story aside, I have ordered two five lbs bags from Stone Street during an extended trip to the US, and I think I will need a third.
The taste is bright and crisp (moka, cold brew), the pristine flavours nuanced with the fruity notes of the wild trees from a mountainland south of Harrar and Sidamo, and I count among its devotees.
If you are in France, Ethiopian roasters can supply you (Terra Kahwa), but here in the States, please try Stone Street!

My personal favorite

Yirgacheffe will always have a special place in my heart. But darn it if this isn't some of the best I've had in a very long time. Wonderfully done and an absolute staple in my house.
